Jobless in Montreal

This is depressing. In two weeks, it’s going to be my two-month anniversary of being jobless.

WHY IS IT THAT DIFFICULT TO FIND A JOB IN A BIG CITY SUCH AS MONTREAL???

It’s simple. All I’m looking for is for a part-time job as an office clerk (or any similar job). It doesn’t matter if the job is permanent, temporary, on contract or seasonal. I’m looking for any job that is related to computers, where I’m working (most of time if not all the time) on a computer. I’m a Computer Science student in a CEGEP and I know perfectly how to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I’m also fluent in French.

I got a few calls last week and they all told me that they’re looking for full-time workers. It’s really depressing to stay here, at home doing nothing all day long…. yes, nothing! The day I have quit my job, my school went on strike days later. -___-

If by any chance you’re an employer or you know someone who is looking for an employee, please contact me.

Please REBLOG this. :-) ?

Job Hunting

I finally quit my job! I stayed in this job for the longest time of all the jobs that I had. I never thought I could stay for that long but I did. :)

The reason why I quit my job is, first, because it’s way too far from home. It take me an hour forty to get there and between an hour forty to TWO HOURS to get home from my workplace. -___- I can’t handle it anymore. That’s too much! The second reason is that I am studying in an intensive program in college which means I need to mainly focus on my studies at the moment. These days, I’m usually scheduled five hours per week but five hours/week is to me considered a nine hours per week since it takes me four hours roundtrip to get there and home. Traveling makes me more tired than actually working. That’s why I need to find the nearest job from home or school.

Right now, I’m looking for a part-time job in Montreal. Five to fifteen hours/week. Cashier, clerk-receptionist, data entry clerk, blogger, name it! Anything computer-related because I’m studying Computer Science at school. It can be a seasonal job, on contract, temporary or permanent job. It doesn’t matter to me as long as I like it.

Young Artists For Haiti - Wavin’ Flag

It’s funny how I’m Canadian and I don’t know who half the people in this video are.

Remember Télétoon? Oh! Yes, because the channel still exist, but do you remember the OLD SCHOOL Télétoon? I miss those late nights when this commercial was on. I knew all the songs’ order by heart. I had a lot of fun singing them with my sister. If you remember the ad above, you might also remember Red Hot and Sweet Love (second part of the video).
